Since 2005, the FOX 36 has led the single crown fork market with best-in-class performance and unrivaled stiffness-to-weight ratio.
The latest evolution of the revered 36 brings big fork energy to All-Mountain riding. An updated chassis and significant increase in bushing overlap adds 20% torsional stiffness over the previous 36, approaching the steering responsiveness of the 38.
A new compliant FLOAT air spring and inboard bypass channels make 36 considerably smoother throughout its travel, especially when engaged at higher loads and at faster speeds.

Grip X2
The most tunable, supportive and smoothest descent-focused damper ever created by FOX. Sit higher in the travel, keep tires glued to the ground and corner with increased traction, all while reducing overall rider fatigue. Learn more about the new GRIP family below.
SMOOTH UNDER LOAD
The seamlessly compliant FLOAT Glidecore air spring reduces friction by moving with the fork under dynamic load. Large cross-section O-rings dampen and control this motion while also reducing breakaway friction of the air spring. The result? Smoother suspension action.
ARCH TO RIVAL
Generatively designed and optimized by FOX engineers, a new arch design wraps around the lowers to increase torsional stiffness of the fork by a full 20% over the previous 36. Cutouts at strategic locations help minimize weight.
